Are you authorized to export to other countries?

Our company is approved by the relevant authorities so that we can export to Japan, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, Brazil, Argentina and Mexico.

Where does the Iberian Ham come from?

It comes from the famous Iberian pig, native to the Iberian peninsula. These pigs have adapted through natural selection in the freedom of oak and cork trees.

Where are the Iberian pigs reared?

Most of our pigs are bred in the Sierra de San Pedro in Cáceres (Extremadura). Our farm there has the optimum conditions for growth and fattening. Other pigs are also carefully selected from the Sierra de Aracena (Huelva) and from the mountainous region to the North of Seville and Cordoba.

What food are the pigs raised on?

Our pigs are raised on barley, herbs, field roots and acorns. Between the ages of 18-20 months they will attain their optimum weight for slaughter: 160-180 kgs.

Do you have total hygiene and health guarantees throughout the production process?

Our modern factory (2003) is adapted to the latest legal requirements regarding health and safety and is equipped with the most up-to-date technology in all aspects of production.

What is the salting process?

The salting of our selected hams is one of the most delicate processes. Our professional experts carefully monitor this vital period of the hams’ development that alters both the texture and flavour.

What is the curing process?

The curing process is entirely natural. Our professionals monitor the weather daily and consequently open or close the windows as the weather requires. Finally, our cellar is the ideal space for our hams during the curing process so that they acquire the unmistakable aroma and taste of our authentic acorn-fed Iberian hams.
